Community Engagement
Crooked Creek CDC brings individuals and groups together to ensure priorities are addressed, diverse voices heard and the energies of all who want to participate in making a good community even greater are tapped. The following are just a few of the ways we engage citizens and organizations in our work:
5,000 Hours Volunteer Program – Crooked Creek CDC encourages individuals and organizations to volunteer in ways that directly benefit the community. This program captures volunteer hours, documents the level of civic involvement and recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations. Quality of Life Plan Progress Committee – A group of local stakeholders meets quarterly to check the progress of various projects and update the QOL plan as needed. Anyone interested in being part of the committee may contact achadwick@crookedcreekcdc.org.
